The [Kick-Off] Word: January 2014

Boom! Welcome to 2014!WordJan14

I trust that everyone survived the holiday season and is ready to take on another fantastic year. There’s something special about the start of a new year. There’s a sense of calm and hope that refreshes and energizes as we begin to think about what the year ahead holds for us. This is also the time that we develop our New Year’s Resolutions, a trend that I’ve noticed seems to have lost its luster with a lot of folks.

Over the last several years, I have actually become quite fond of resolution setting. I might not always complete my resolutions, but they keep me active throughout the year. I look at them as short-term goals to reach my long-term dreams. Whether they are health-related, work-related, or hobby-related, I have found that setting a few solid resolutions can help with taking steps towards finding joy in everyday life.

Even if you don’t plan to set any resolutions for yourself, you might consider setting a few for your business. Looking at the long-term goals for your business, consider if there are any steps that you may be able to take this year to bring those ultimate goals a little closer to their realization. If you want to grow your business, perhaps meeting with a marketer to discuss the creation of a strong, cohesive brand would be of benefit. Or if you dream of moving to a new building, consider speaking to a financial consultant to begin mapping out the steps necessary to moving your organization to a new location. Even the harmless resolution of research will help you to flesh out those long-term goals and energize you into taking the necessary steps.

One of the resolutions for RAK Consulting in 2014 is to continue to expand and deepen the services we offer to our clients. While we started off as simply a telecom consultancy who set out to reduce the expenses of our clients, we have grown into an organization that is proactive and searches for creative solutions for our clients before they encounter any difficulties. We want to help our clients reach their business goals in any way that we can, making it easier, less stressful, and as cost-efficient as possible. In addition, we want to continue to strengthen our relationships with our current and future clients as we discovered that they are a wealth of enthusiasm and ingenuity that continually inspires us. As a result of these resolutions, we have quite a few plans for RAK Consulting in 2014 that we are extremely excited to be rolling out throughout the year.

We are really excited to start this fresh new year and begin to unravel all that it holds for ourselves and our clients. We hope you’ll join us in setting a few resolutions for yourself and your business, remembering that all dreams are possible if we diligently work toward them with passion and positivity.

Wishing you all the best in health, wealth, happiness, and success in 2014!

Respectfully,
Anne Kulinski & the RAK Consulting Team
