The RAK Report: July 2014

Welcome to the second half of 2014! Where has the time gone? 

As we get back into the swing of work after a much-needed 3-day weekend, we hope everyone is enjoying the glorious summer weather. If we’re not having thunderstorms out here in the midwest, we’re enjoying warm, sunny days. Fortunately, we’re able to focus on work before getting out to play, so we have some new and continuing business to announce.

Last month, we started working with a new client, Ultimate Machining and Engineering in Plainfield, Illinois. Ultimate Machining & Engineering “specializes in high-precision manufacturing solutions tailored to meet today’s demanding industrial standards.” While we will first assist them in obtaining a new communications system to replace their existing Nortel PBX, we’ve also identified alternative wireless providers and rate plans for them which will provide better reception at the same pricing that they currently have.

We were also recently contracted by Stanton Chase’s Chicago branch, located in Lake Forest, Illinois, to provide them with a communications system solution. Stanton Chase is an executive search firm and the “Chicago office serves client organizations in virtually every industry by providing outstanding search solutions for senior executive and board of director positions.” We’re very excited to get started and help to enhance their communications program.

Through June and into July, we’re continuing the implementation of our recommendations for Kristel Displays, Bollinger Connolly Krause, and Hormann.
